Founded by a former solo traveler turned boy mama of three, KA’I & CO. Media was born from a deep understanding that the most meaningful stories are never just seen, they’re felt. What began with a camera gifted at 17 grew into a lifelong pursuit of documenting people, places, and the quiet in-between moments that often go unnoticed.

Her early years of travel carried her across continents, through the deserts of Morocco, the catacombs of Istanbul, the rice terraces of Indonesia, and even to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro alongside a humanitarian partnership with UNICEF. These experiences shaped the foundation of KA’I & CO: to observe deeply, move intentionally, and tell stories with truth and reverence.

Over time, that lens expanded from solo work into something greater.

KA’I & CO. is a hand-selected collective of photographers and filmmakers who share a common beginning: travel, exploration, and humanitarian storytelling, before transitioning into weddings and lifestyle storytelling. That shared background is what defines the way they work today: thoughtful, documentary-led, and rooted in real human connection.

Today, parenthood continues to refine the purpose behind the brand. It has deepened the understanding that photographs and films are not just keepsakes, they are inheritance. A way for families to connect and step back into their story.

AT KA‘I & CO, OUR MISSION is SIMPLE

TO PRESERVE YOUR STORIES WITH INTENTION AND TO CAPTURE COUPLES AND FAMILIES WHO MOVE BOLDLY IN LOVE, IN THE MESS, AND THE UNEXPECTED — BECAUSE YOUR LOVE DESERVES TO BE REMEMBERED.

THE MANA‘O BEHIND

        THE NAME

KA'I blends her husband and firstborn's middle name, while CO, honors her great grandfather's Chinese surname, this name was given to their second born to celebrate her mother’s maternal line. Their third son is represented in the logo, signified in the ‘iwa bird, inspiring the rebrand, carrying their family’s story of love and legacy with it.
